Here are some other things to keep in mind to not get scammed when dealing in com.
Most reputable middlemen use a forum, for example OGUsers which is a message board for selling and buying digital accounts, usernames and more. Request that your middleman sends you a message on the site to prove their identity as an extra security measure.
Scammers will make a fake MM group and add you to it. To prevent this, go to Telegram Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Invites -> Who can add me to groups? -> Nobody.
Some scammers will replace a “l” (lower case L) letter with a capital i (I) which can be hard to see. Look closely at the username or use an invisible character detector or letter counter tool to check usernames.
